Creating Award Categories

Looking to place certain awards under a single grouping or a faster way to apply funds to groups of awards at a single time? Award categories will let you filter awards on the Manage Awards page so you can do things like download all awards in a category or transfer funds to all awards in a category.

Creating a Category

To create a category:

  1. Click the manage site icon and click Categories under Awards.
  2. Click + Add in the upper left corner of the categories page.
  3. Enter categories with each category on a new line.
  4. Click Save.

Editing a Category

To edit a category:

  1. Click the manage site icon and click Categories under Awards.
  2. Click the gear icon in the edit column of the category you want to edit.
  3. Rename your category and click Ok.

Adding/Removing a Category from an Award

To add or remove awards from categories:

  1. Click the manage site icon and click Manage Awards.
  2. Select the awards you'd like to add to a category.
  3. Select whether you want to add or remove categories and which categories you'd like to add or remove awards from in the Edit Categories drop down.
  4. Click Done.

You can also categorize awards when you create them by selecting award categories in The Basics tab.

Filtering Award Categories

To filter awards by category:

  1. Click the manage site icon and click Manage Awards.
  2. Click Filters in the upper right corner.
  3. Select In award category from the Basic Filters in the Please Select drop down.
  4. Configure which category or categories you want your filter to show or not show. If you select is one of or is not any of you will be able to select more than one category for your filter.
  5. Optional: Give your filter a name and click Save to put the filter in your Quick Filters list at the bottom of the manage awards page.
  6. Click Apply.
